About the HR-100 President
The Robin HR-100 President is a French single-engine, low-wing monoplane designed as a metal-winged evolution of an earlier regional model. Featuring a cantilever tail unit and a fixed tricycle undercarriage, this four-seat aircraft is well-suited for private owners and light transport missions.
Created by designer Chris Heintz and manufactured by Avions Pierre Robin, the prototype originated from a rebuilt airframe that performed its maiden flight in the spring of nineteen sixty-nine. Throughout the following decade, the company introduced multiple iterations, including a high-powered variant equipped with a retractable landing gear and a more potent engine. Military branches also utilized modified editions for communication duties, while related developments branched out into dedicated trainer models and lighter structural redesigns.
The HR-100 President is a variant of the Robin HR-100 Royal. Other variants: HR 100-210, HR-100 Safari, HR-100 Tiara.
