About the Wagaero

The Cuby Wagaero is an American homebuilt fixed-wing aircraft featuring two seats and a single engine. Developed as a redesign of a classic aircraft using modern construction methods and materials, it was aimed at the amateur-built market to serve as a forgiving trainer and recreational flyer.

Design work began in the United States, and plans alongside major parts kits were made available to homebuilders. Multiple versions were produced, including a standard layout following traditional designs and a clipped-wing aerobatic variant, with examples constructed and operated internationally.
