About the Pegazair-100

The Tapanee Aviation Pegazair 100 is a homebuilt, amateur-built fixed-wing aircraft featuring a high-wing monoplane layout with side-by-side seating for two occupants. Powered by a single horizontally opposed piston engine, it is designed for short takeoff and landing operations.

Serg Dufour initiated development of the aircraft as a set of replacement wings equipped with retractable leading edge slats intended for another design, before eventually creating a matching fuselage and tail. The structure consists of a welded steel tubing fuselage with aluminum skin, full-length flaperons, and automatically deploying leading edge slats. The tailplane incorporates a slot for enhanced low-speed authority. The prototype utilized a lower-horsepower engine, and the concept was later utilized as the basis for a four-seat development.
