About the Jodel D150

The Societe Aeronautique Normande JODEL D150 is a French type-certificated fixed-wing light aircraft. It is a two-seat, single-engine low-wing monoplane featuring a tailwheel undercarriage and wooden construction with upturned outer wing panels. The type suits flying clubs and private pilots looking for a capable trainer and tourer.

Designed by Jean Délémontez as a successor to an earlier trainer, the prototype performed its first flight in June 1962, with production commencing the following year. It was the first Jodel design to incorporate an all-moving tail surface. Total factory production ceased when the original manufacturer liquidated, though plans and kits remained available for homebuilt assembly, resulting in numerous amateur-built completions.
