About the Comp Air 6

The Comp Air 6 is an American light civil utility aircraft manufactured by Comp Air. Usually supplied in kit form, it is suited for private owners and operators requiring a versatile transport. The aircraft features a conventional high-wing monoplane layout with a stretched and widened cabin, and can be configured with a tricycle or tailwheel undercarriage, floats, amphibious gear, or skis.

The design is a development of the four-seat Aerocomp CompMonster. To create the Comp Air 6, the original design underwent a fore-and-aft fuselage splice to lengthen and widen the cabin space.
