About the Sbach 342

The Xtremeair Sbach 342 is a German high-performance, fixed-wing monoplane featuring a tandem two-seat configuration, a conventional tailwheel landing gear, and a single piston engine driving a three-bladed propeller. Built entirely from carbon composite materials, it is designed for unlimited aerobatics as well as touring and flight training.

Created by Philipp Steinbach alongside Albert Mylius, the aircraft serves as the tandem development of an earlier single-seat design. It obtained European and American type certifications, and dozens have been constructed to compete at the highest levels of international aerobatic competition.
