About the Pup
The Beagle Pup is a British fixed-wing training and touring aircraft featuring a single engine and a layout accommodating up to four seats. Built by Beagle Aircraft Limited, it suits flying clubs and private operators seeking a versatile aircraft.
Developed as an all-metal design to replace aging types, the prototype first flew in the late nineteen sixties. The manufacturing process proved complex and expensive, leading to financial difficulties for the company and ending production after a relatively small number of aircraft were completed, although surviving examples found homes with civilian operators globally.
