About the FP-101
The Fisher FP 101 is an American single-seat, fixed-wing ultralight aircraft featuring a high-wing, conventional landing gear, and tractor configuration layout. Constructed predominantly from wood with fabric coverings, it is tailored for recreational pilots seeking a lightweight machine that meets specific ultralight category requirements.
Designed by Michael Fisher, the aircraft was originally made available in kit form by Lite Flite before production transitioned to Fisher Flying Products. Most units were delivered to domestic customers as unregistered ultralights, while others later entered official amateur-built and basic ultra-light experimental registries in North America.
This page covers the Fisher FP-101U: the same aircraft under other designations.
