About the Cap 10B

The Avions Mudry Et Cie CAP 10B is a French low-wing cantilever monoplane fixed-wing aircraft designed for aerobatic training. Built with a wooden construction and seating two occupants with dual controls, it is operated by flight schools and aspiring competition pilots preparing for precision aerobatics.

Evolving from an earlier design by Piel, the prototype made its initial flight during the late nineteen-sixties in Bernay, France, under the direction of designer Mudry. Manufacturing rights later transitioned through several corporate entities following various bankruptcies. Hundreds of airframes were constructed over decades of production, and updated versions continue to be built today. The type achieved widespread renown as a premier aerobatic trainer, shaping generations of champions.
