About the 152
The Cessna 152 is an American single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft featuring a fixed tricycle landing gear and a seating capacity for two occupants. It is primarily utilized for personal flying and flight training operations.
Developed as a modernized evolution of the earlier Cessna 150, the aircraft was built to compete with rival models introduced around the same period. Most units were constructed at the manufacturer's facility in Kansas, while others were assembled in France under a different designation. Production concluded when the maker halted light aircraft manufacturing, though thousands of examples, including aerobatic variants, were completed worldwide. Over the years, the type has also received certification to operate on alternative fuel sources.
