Southern California Training Provider Adopts New Tecnam Aircraft
Axiom Flight Services announced an expansion of its training fleet with the addition of the Tecnam P-Mentor at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
During the event on July 24, 2026, Tecnam shared that the Southern California flight school has chosen the P-Mentor to grow its aircraft lineup. The provider seeks to invest in technologically advanced models to maintain a safe, efficient, and consistent training environment as enrollment numbers increase.
The newly added P-Mentor pairs with Axiom's earlier acquisition of a Tecnam P2006T MkII. This combination supplies a comprehensive and modern lineup capable of supporting every phase of an aviator's journey, from primary instruction to commercial and multi-engine ratings.
David Stringfellow, Chief Pilot of Axiom Flight Services, stated that the organization focuses on building the right fleet rather than the largest one. He noted that every addition is chosen to strengthen training programs, boost aircraft availability, and better the student and instructor experience.
Authorized dealer Cutter Aviation facilitated the fleet expansion and strategic partnership. Stringfellow expressed appreciation for the support provided by Cutter Aviation and Tecnam Italy, noting that the relationship empowers the school to deliver quality instruction throughout the region.
Walter da Costa, Chief Sales Officer at Tecnam, expressed pride in supporting the flight academy from the Oshkosh exhibition booth. He highlighted that combining the P-Mentor with the P2006T MkII creates an ultimate modern training atmosphere that aligns with the manufacturer's mission.
PlaneFile lists 10 Tecnam P-Mentor aircraft and 10 Tecnam - C. Aeronautiche P2006T aircraft currently for sale.
