1986 Mooney M20K 252 Encore TKS

Description

Perhaps the only Mooney 252 Encore with FIKI for sale anywhere in the World, N97NM is ready to go a new home. Mooney enthusiasts will know how few 252's come for sale, and of those how few are Encore specification with 220hp and 3130lbs MTOW. Of those tiny few Encores, remember Mooney only made 27 of them how few of the remaining aircraft have FIKI TKS. This is a very select aircraft for someone searching for a specific model. The Mooney 252 TSE moves like a knife in the flight levels, and runs wingtip to wingtip with C90 King Airs. It is perhaps the ultimate personal four-seater, and while we have it for sale we intend to enjoy it.N97NM is further distinguished as a full Encore-specification aircraft, upgraded from the standard 210hp 252 to the 220hp Encore configuration by Eagle Aircraft in February 2007 widely regarded among Mooney enthusiasts as the sweet spot in the M20K line. We will supply you a copy of the Backwards Tales, and you can read all about why Mooney people rave about the 252.This aircraft also carries a genuine transatlantic pedigree, having been flown across the North Atlantic via Canada, Greenland and Iceland to Europe a well-documented trip, with full day-by-day route records available to any interested buyer. The aircraft is currently flying, fresh out of annual and it would be a pleasure to fly with you.Airplane time state:1986 Model YearMooney M20K 252 TSE EncoreS/N 25-10474361hrs TTAF at Aug 2026 annualContinental (TCM) TSIO-360-SB1B220hp Encore SpecS/N 819756-R105hrs TSMOH by TriadCompressions (Aug 2026): 72 / 72 / 76 / 72 / 72 / 72McCauley 2-blade 2A34C221-B/G90DHC-16ES/N 851882543hrs SPOHAnnual completed 27 Aug 2026Annual next due 31st Aug 2027Pitot-static & transponder (14 CFR 91.411 / 91.413) scheduled September 202675.6USG (or 286L) Usable fuel capacity3,130 lbs MTOW with Encore Spec2,175 lbs BEW955 lbs Useful Load
