Description

  • 1971 Piper Cherokee Six 300 (PA-32-300) – N8673N
  • Low-time engine and prop, always hangared, fresh annual happening now.
  • Seven seats, 84 gallons, and the 300 hp Lycoming that makes the Six the best load-hauler in its class. Selling only because I'm not flying enough to justify keeping it. It is currently getting its annual inspection done which should complete in the next few weeks. A&P found a crack in the aft bulkhead which is being repaired.
  • Lycoming IO-540 300 hp – 330 hours since factory remanufacture (installed 2016)
  • Hartzell 3-blade Top Prop – installed new with the engine, 330 hours
  • 4,200 hours total time airframe
  • Fresh annual inspection with sale (September 2026)
  • Hangared since I bought it in 2018, and hangared by the previous owner before that
  • Complete logbooks, no significant damage history

Avionics & equipment

  • Dual Bendix/King KX-155 nav/com with dual King indicators (both with glideslope)
  • Piper AutoControl III autopilot
  • uAvionix skySensor ADS-B In & Out (2020 compliant – traffic and weather to your tablet)
  • Narco CP-136 audio panel with marker beacon
  • Narco AT-150 transponder
  • 6-place intercom
  • Artex 406 ELT
  • Electric engine block heater – nice for Idaho winters
  • ADF and legacy Loran are installed but inoperative

Airframe & interior

• 7-seat configuration – all seven seats recently reupholstered; side panels, carpet and headliner are original and clean

• 84-gallon fuel capacity (mains + tips)

• 8.50 x 6 main tires (hard to find legally on a Six – great for gravel and grass strips). Standard wheel pants included if you want to go back to stock tires.

• Cargo door, big baggage area, 7-place utility that a 182 can't touch

Honest condition notes

• Paint is fair – I'd call it a 5/10. Original scheme, presentable from ten feet, needs a repaint to be pretty.

• The stabilator was re-skinned after cracks were found in the original skin. The new skin on the stabilator/rudder is in primer and still needs paint to match.

• Everything else is straightforward – no surprises at pre-buy.

Included

Tow bar, cowling cover, standard wheel pants, all logs.
