About the Airtourer 100

The Victa Airtourer 100 is an all-metal, fixed-wing light monoplane designed for touring and flight training. It features a low-wing configuration and a single piston engine driving a fixed-pitch propeller, suiting aero clubs and flying schools as a trainer.

The winning entry of a design competition, the prototype first flew in the late 1950s. Manufacturing was subsequently undertaken by a lawn mower manufacturer before rights were transferred to a maintenance firm in New Zealand. The type was utilized for notable long-distance flights, including a global circumnavigation.
