About the AT01

The Aquila Aviation International AT01 is a German single-engine, fixed-wing light aircraft built for general aviation and flight training. It features a side-by-side two-seat cabin layout and a fixed tricycle undercarriage configuration, making it well-suited for private owners and aero clubs.

Engineering work commenced near the end of the twentieth century, culminating in an initial flight shortly thereafter. The airframe is constructed entirely from carbon and glass fibre reinforced plastics, featuring a low-wing design with a laminar flow section. It relies on a flat-four piston engine paired with a variable-pitch propeller. Following regional and international certifications, the type achieved commercial success primarily across Europe, where numerous examples entered service with flight training organizations.

This page covers the Aquila Aviation International AQUILA AT01, AT01, AT01-100, AT01-200, AT01-300: the same aircraft under other designations.
