About the SNS-7

The Sorrell SNS-7 Hiperbipe is a fixed-wing cabin biplane featuring a negative stagger layout and conventional landing gear. Designed in the United States for amateur construction, it accommodates two seats and is powered by a single four-cylinder piston engine. The aircraft suits pilots seeking advanced aerobatic performance combined with the enclosed comfort of a cabin-style layout.

Created by the Sorrell family, the design utilizes welded steel tubing for the fuselage and control mounts, alongside wooden wings and fiberglass fairings, all covered in doped fabric. The type is capable of advanced aerobatics and has been registered across multiple countries. Manufacturing rights were later transferred to Thunderbird Aviation.
