About the SF 25 E

The Scheibe Aircraft SF 25 E is a German touring motor glider designed for recreational flying and soaring training. It features a side-by-side two-seat enclosed cockpit, a nose-mounted engine, and a glider-derived airframe layout.

Developed by Scheibe Flugzeugbau as an improvement over earlier motor gliders and derived from the Bergfalke glider, the prototype made its maiden flight in May 1963. Over the years, the type has seen multiple variants equipped with various engines and has been built under license by several international manufacturers across Europe.

This page covers the Scheibe Aircraft SCHEIBE SF25E: the same aircraft under other designations.

The SF 25 E is a variant of the Scheibe Aircraft SF-25 Super Falke. Other variants: SF-25 Rotax Falke, SF-25 Superschlepper, SF-25 Turbo Falke.
