About the Pzl-104MA Wilga 2000

The Eads Pzl Warszawa-Okecie PZL-104MA WILGA 2000 is a fixed-wing, type-certificated utility aircraft. It features a high-wing cantilever monoplane layout with a four-seat cabin and a single engine, making it well-suited for civil aviation operators, flight training clubs, and military liaison duties.

Originally designed and manufactured in Poland, the aircraft first flew in April 1962 and remained in continuous production until 2006 under successive manufacturers. Built with an all-aluminium structure, duralumin cabin, and slotted flaps for short-takeoff-and-landing performance, it has been adapted with various radial and flat engines over time. Thousands were produced, supporting diverse roles such as observation, parachute training, and glider towing, with pilots earning multiple international aviation prizes.
