About the P 166C
The Piaggio P 166C is an Italian fixed-wing, type-certificated utility aircraft. Featuring a twin-engine pusher layout with turboprop engines, it accommodates up to thirteen seats and suits executive transport, feeder service, and military utility roles.
Developed from the P.136 amphibian, the basic design flew for the first time in the nineteen-fifties, retaining the original wing and engines while introducing a new fuselage and tail unit. Subsequent versions introduced increased seating capacity, improved undercarriages, and more powerful turboprop powerplants.
This page covers the Piaggio P.166 C: the same aircraft under other designations.
