About the M-20M Bravo

The Mooney M20M is an American type-certificated fixed-wing aircraft configured with a low wing, retractable tricycle gear, and a single piston engine. It provides a four-seat enclosed cabin, making it suitable for general aviation touring and personal transport.

Originating as part of a long-running family of designs conceived by its namesake designer, the aircraft first took to the air in the early 1950s after the company relocated. Early iterations featured wooden wing and tail structures later replaced by metal, while the airframe itself combines steel-tube cabin framing with aluminum semi-monocoque construction. Over decades of intermittent production runs involving multiple company ownership changes, thousands of units have been built.
