About the M-6-235

The Maule M-6-235 is an American single-engine, high-wing cabin monoplane built by the Maule Aircraft Company to seat up to four occupants in side-by-side seating rows. Developed as an evolution of an earlier company design to deliver enhanced short takeoff and landing performance, it features a robust steel-tube and fabric-covered airframe equipped with fixed tailwheel landing gear.

The aircraft entered production under marketing names such as the Lunar Rocket, incorporating enlarged tail surfaces and significantly expanded flap areas compared to its predecessor. Further evolutionary work yielded a related model featuring an extended wingspan, larger flaps, reduced aileron size, and increased fuel capacity to support versatile utility operations.
