About the D-150 Mascaret

The Jodel D-150 Mascaret is a French single-engined light aircraft designed for touring and training. It is a low-winged wooden monoplane featuring distinctive upturned outer wingtips and a fixed tailwheel undercarriage, accommodating two occupants side by side under a canopy.

Created by Jean Délémontez as a development of earlier touring models with a reduced wingspan and shorter fuselage, the prototype first took to the air in the early 1960s. Production continued until factory liquidation, after which plans remained available for amateur homebuilders to construct their own examples from scratch or complete unfinished airframes.
