About the A150 Aerobat

The Cessna A150 Aerobat is a fixed-wing general aviation aircraft featuring a single engine and a tricycle landing gear layout. Equipped with two seats, it is designed specifically for flight training, touring, and personal use, offering enhanced structural capabilities for aerobatic maneuvers. Its stable yet responsive platform makes it well-suited for instructional environments and recreational flying.

Originating from a widely produced light aircraft family, the design succeeded an older tailwheel product line by introducing tricycle gear for easier ground handling, alongside larger wing flaps and modern squared-off tips. Series manufacturing took place domestically as well as through international license agreements in Europe and South America. Over the course of production, the aircraft received various refinements, including expanded baggage space and redesigned cabin doors, before eventually being succeeded by an updated engine variant.
