About the P-19 Scricciolo
The Aviamilano P-19 Scricciolo is an Italian light civil trainer aircraft featuring a low-wing monoplane layout and side-by-side seating for two under a bubble canopy. It was constructed for instructional roles and suited flying clubs training student pilots.
The aircraft emerged as the winner of a design competition organized for the Aero Club d'Italia, leading to multiple production batches at the factory. Its structure combined a fabric-covered steel tube fuselage with wooden wings and tail surfaces, and later examples were adapted with more powerful engines to serve as glider tugs.
