The Globe GC-1B is an American fixed-wing, two-seat sport monoplane equipped with a single engine and retractable conventional landing gear. It suits private owners and sport pilots looking for a post-war light aircraft layout.

Initially conceived at the start of the decade, development was delayed by global conflict before the initial version secured its type certificate. Following a subsequent engine upgrade to the variant described here, production output temporarily outpaced sales, leading to company insolvency and subsequent manufacture by another industrial firm.
