About the DV-1 Skylark

The Dova DV-1 Skylark is a fixed-wing aircraft featuring a single engine, suited for private business travel, fitness and recreational flying, flight training, and towing gliders.

Originally designed and built as a private project in Canada by a university professor, the prototype performed its first flight at the start of the 2000s before production rights were acquired by another entity. The type later received a Czech ultralight type certificate and gained a marketing presence in North America.
