About the T-41B

The Cessna T-41B is an American single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft built for military pilot training. It suits armed forces and flight academies seeking a reliable training platform, featuring a four-seat cabin layout derived from popular civilian utility designs.

The military variant emerged in the nineteen-sixties when defense forces sought a commercial off-the-shelf platform for introductory flight screening. Upgraded versions incorporated more powerful horizontally opposed piston engines and constant-speed propellers to handle specialized training requirements. While largely withdrawn from primary military service by the end of the twentieth century, surviving airframes continue to fly with military academies and civil owners.
