About the F150H

The Cessna F150H is a fixed-wing, type-certificated aircraft manufactured by Textron Aviation in the USA. Designed as a two-seat, single-engine monoplane with tricycle landing gear, it serves primarily in the roles of flight training, touring, and personal use. It is well-suited for student pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike, offering a conventional layout powered by a single piston engine.

The development of the aircraft began in the mid-1950s as a successor to the Cessna 140, introducing tricycle gear for improved ground handling alongside modern Fowler flaps. The prototype first flew in 1957, and production commenced the following year in Wichita, Kansas, with additional units built under license in France by Reims Aviation. Over its production run, several named configurations were introduced, including the basic Standard, the Trainer, the deluxe Commuter, the Commuter II, and the aerobatic Aerobat. The 150 eventually became the fifth most produced aircraft ever before being succeeded by the closely related Cessna 152.
