About the F150G
The Textron Aviation F150G is a single-engine, high-wing monoplane featuring tricycle landing gear and seating for two. Designed primarily for flight training, personal touring, and general utility, it is widely used by flight schools and private aviators.
Developed by Cessna as a successor to earlier tailwheel designs, the prototype first flew in 1957 before production commenced in Wichita, Kansas, with additional units built under license in France. Over the course of its manufacturing run, the aircraft underwent continuous refinements, including larger doors, a swept tail fin, and electrically operated flaps, before eventual production suspension.
