About the Cyclone 180

The Bushliner Aircraft Cyclone 180 is an amateur-built utility aircraft developed in Canada and later transitioned to American manufacturing oversight. It is designed to accommodate four occupants within an enclosed cabin accessed via vertically hinged doors. The layout incorporates a strut-braced high wing fitted with flaps, a fixed conventional landing gear arrangement, and a single tractor-mounted engine.

As a replica inspired by a classic utility design, the aircraft incorporates various structural improvements including an extended wing area and preformed kit parts designed for assembly without jigs. Useful load capacity and endurance make it suitable for backcountry operations. Several dozen examples have been completed and entered onto civil aircraft registers in North America.
