About the S-10 Sakota

The As+ S-10 Sakota is a single-engine, tractor-configuration, mid-wing monoplane featuring a side-by-side seating arrangement for two individuals. Built with conventional landing gear, it is designed specifically for aerobatics and cross-country travel, and is supplied as an amateur-built kit.

Engineered by Randy Schlitter as a dual-seat evolution of an earlier single-seat aerobatic machine, the type relies on a welded steel tube cockpit structure combined with an aluminum rear fuselage and fabric coverings. After an eighteen-year production run concluded during a corporate product line restructuring, the design was later brought back into manufacturing. Numerous examples have been registered and flown globally.
