About the TSI

The Sling Aircraft TSI is a South African homebuilt, low-wing monoplane featuring a single horizontally-opposed piston engine and fixed tricycle gear. It is a four-seat aircraft well-suited for personal touring and long-range cross-country flying.

The aircraft was developed as an evolution of an earlier company design, incorporating structural reinforcements and flush riveting on the wings and fuselage. It made its public debut at an aviation gathering, and a company demonstrator later completed notable long-distance and altitude flights, including non-stop journeys across the United States and high-altitude ceiling tests.
