About the 7DC Champion

The Aeronca 7DC Champion is a single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft featuring a conventional landing gear arrangement and two seats in a cabin monoplane layout. It is well-suited for flight training and personal recreational flying.

Developed in the United States, the design shares a high percentage of its parts with a contemporary side-by-side stablemate to minimize production expenses. Following strong post-war demand driven by student pilots, thousands of Champions were manufactured before production concluded. Ownership and parts support eventually transitioned to club networks and specialized suppliers.
