About the Amt-100
The Aeromot - Industria Mecanico AMT-100 is a Brazilian glider categorized as a type-certificated aircraft. Designed to accommodate two people, this low-wing motor glider features a single piston engine coupled with a two-bladed propeller. It serves as a suitable option for pilots seeking a dual-seat aircraft with soaring capabilities and folding wings for simplified storage.
Originally derived from the Fournier RF-10, the aircraft is constructed from glassfibre and incorporates a conventional landing gear alongside a T-tail layout. Its propulsion is provided by a front-mounted four-stroke powerplant, though alternative power units were also provisioned. Over the course of its structural evolution, the design eventually served as the basis for a subsequent variant equipped with a Rotax power plant.
