I recently was unable to get my medical renewed. So I’m selling my beloved, forever airplane. It’s a 1982 Mooney M 20 J. All logbook are maintained from the beginning of the production. It has an all Garmin stack to include:

1. Pair of G5 instrument clusters.

2. Brand new GFC auto pilot( installed with G5 pair)

3. Garmin 430W (screen looks hazed but is clear when running, not an issue)

4. Flighstream 210 ( for those of you not familiar… It attaches to the back of the 430 Bluetooth to any tablet. Which allows you to upload any flight plan from your iPad rather than typing it in manually on the GPS.. You can even rubber band it on for Flight and it’ll switch automatically so no more typing on GPS)

5. Garmin 535 c

6 newly installed fuel flow gauge.

7. Narco backup radio.

8. Back seats converted to individual high back bucket type seats.

9. All leather seats.

10. All electric flaps, gear .

11. 4 place intercom.

12. lED wing tip markers and landing light.

13. 8 out of 10 on both interior and cabin.

14. Engine preheat.

15. Plumbed for Zero Breeze portable A/C (heat exhaust to tail and condensation overboard. A/C is battery powered and lasts for 4-5 hours.c.

16. All compressions are over 75.

17. Comes with: 3 Bose Aviation X headsets. Portable a/c . Fresh annual which is due but use as pre-buy. Drill powered tug ($1600 cost) kit for iPad mini panel mount (fan cooling and power)

18. TBO: 270 hours since Mattituck OH 2011. Starts first time and runs smooth and powerful. Better than any I’ve owned.

There are extra extras, but I’ll just list those for now. Plane is priced to move because I need out of the hanger since I can’t get my medical it’s just sitting. useful load is about 950 dry. Plane is in great shape they have taken care of it and never replaced anything recommended. Because I planned on it to be my forever plane so I put whatever money I needed to into it to make it perfect the Avionics upgrades Loan were worth about $40,000 installed. The ability to transmit your iPad or android flight path and altitude Simply add a push of a button and acceptance on the GPS is an amazing feature to have. Especially when flying IMC. Wow all moons are fast.… I’ve done a lot to make this one the fastest I could and I consistently get 160 kn that cruise it’s the only plane I’ve owned that actually got the airspeed the book says it should. The plane has never had a gear up landing but did have an incident in 2011 where it ran off the runway, and the engine and some air frame parts were reskinned and overalled. Aside from a few small dents in the left-hand wing, there’s no other visible damage. I've included a pic of the worst dent. Plane flies, true, and straight, wind trimmed. I could go on for hours about how great the plane is and how much I invested in it and loved it, but you just have to see for yourself.

As a note...the plane is going in for annual inspection today 3/23 and will finish in a few weeks. So will have a fresh annual and is also a great time to come take a look and see from a pre-buy perspective...all those things you cant see most of the time.
