You'll be proud to be the pilot of this beautiful looking Piper PA-28-151 Warrior with brand-new Garmin IFR avionics. This is the initial 1974 model year of the Warrior which incorporated the current design tapered wing, larger ailerons and a fuselage stretch of 24", compared to the previous Cherokees. These changes made for a much more spacious interior, and a better handling, more maneuverable plane. It has ~6,030 TT and less than 450 SMOH on the upgraded 160 HP O-320-E2D Lycoming engine. We're installing state-of-the-art Garmin IFR avionics: GTN 650Xi GPS/Nav/Com (with moving map display), GNL 215 Nav/Com, GMA 345 Audio-Panel, GTX 345 ADS-B In/Out Transponder (which enables weather and traffic to be shown on the 650) and two GI 275s replacing the Attitude Indicator and the Horizontal Situation Indicator (eliminating the vacuum system). The new avionics will be integrated with the existing STEC 2 axis auto-pilot. The exterior looks beautiful, painted overall white with jaguar green and gold stripes. The interior is also in Great condition with a complimentary tan and beige color scheme. A custom cabin cover, to protect the windows and interior from heat and sun damage, is included. The plane will come with a fresh Annual Inspection and Pitot/Static/Transponder IFR checks completed. It's the perfect plane in which to earn your Private license, work on an advanced certificate or ratings, or just enjoy the freedom of flying wherever you'd like to go!
