Detailed Description

1967 Piper Cherokee 180C - Garmin GFC 500 • Dual G5s • Garmin 175 WAAS • IFR

Well-equipped and carefully maintained 1967 Piper Cherokee 180C (N4762L) based at T74 - Taylor Municipal Airport in Taylor, Texas.

This Cherokee 180C features a modern Garmin avionics suite, including a Garmin GFC 500 autopilot, dual Garmin G5s, Garmin 175 WAAS GPS, GNS 430, and Garmin 205, along with an EDM 830 engine monitor, ADS-B, and new digital clock. The aircraft is IFR certified and well suited for cross-country flying, instrument training, or personal travel.

Privately owned and never operated as a flight-school or rental aircraft. After purchasing the aircraft, I upgraded the avionics and used it primarily for long cross-country flights while building flight time toward my ATP requirements. Typical flights consisted of 3-4 hours of cruise followed by an IFR approach to the destination, rather than repetitive pattern work or flight-school maneuver training. The aircraft has been personally flown and cared for with an emphasis on proper maintenance and conservative operation.

The aircraft currently has 5,692.7 hours total time. I plan to continue flying the aircraft prior to sale, so the total time and engine times will increase accordingly. The aircraft is powered by a Lycoming O-360-A4A with 1,792.9 hours SMOH and 769.5 hours since IRAN as of the current listing date.

Compressions are currently in the mid-70s, and oil changes have been performed every 50 hours. Aircraft times will be updated prior to sale to reflect the actual current hours.

Recent annual inspection completed February 2026. The aircraft has complete logbooks available for review by serious buyers. No known accidents or damage history.

The interior is new and in approximately 9/10 condition. Exterior paint is approximately 6/10, with cosmetic wear consistent with the aircraft's age.

Additional equipment and upgrades include wheel pants, airplane cover, LED landing light, and numerous additional upgrades.
