The Tecnam P2010 is an Italian fixed-wing light aircraft featuring a single piston engine, a high-wing configuration, and a mixed carbon-fiber and metal layout. It is tailored for four occupants and suits general aviation pilots seeking modern ergonomics and versatile power options.
Conceived by the company's co-founder to bridge the gap from smaller light sport models, the design was publicly revealed in 2011 and achieved maiden flight the following year, later receiving European and American type certifications. Development yielded upgraded iterations featuring higher-output powerplants, variable-pitch propellers, and advanced digital avionics.
