About the P2002-EA Sierra

The Tecnam P2002-EA Sierra is an Italian low-wing light aircraft configured with two seats and a bubble canopy, making it a popular choice for flight training. Its conventional aluminium structure incorporates a low-mounted wing equipped with integral fuel tanks and electrically actuated flaps, paired with conventional pushrod and cable flight controls.

Developed to meet European and American regulations for light aircraft, the type became a dominant part of the manufacturer's output, with a large portion of factory capacity dedicated to its production. Continuous refinement led to updated iterations offering enhanced cabin comfort, avionics, and specialized certifications that permit higher operating weights and safety parachute systems.

The P2002-EA Sierra is a variant of the Tecnam P2002 Sierra. Other variants: P2002 Sierra de Luxe, P2002-RG Sierra.
