About the TB-10 Tobago
Socata TB-10 Tobago is a single-engine fixed-wing aircraft manufactured in France for personal transport, touring, and pilot training. Featuring a low-wing metal layout with a spacious cabin and gull-wing doors, it typically accommodates up to five occupants and suits operators looking for a comfortable European alternative to classic American four-seat trainers.
Developed in the late seventies to succeed the Rallye lineup, design work on the series began to offer superior interior width and contemporary fit and finish. These aircraft are powered by a naturally-aspirated Lycoming piston engine paired with a constant speed propeller. Later generational updates brought aerodynamic refinements, a larger cabin, and modified window styling, while the type continues to be supported with modern glass cockpit retrofit options.
