The Schempp-Hirth Discus 2CT is a type-certificated single-engine glider originating from Germany. Designed as a Standard Class sailplane, it features a specialized wing section with tapered edges and increased dihedral towards the tips, along with optional winglets. The layout accommodates a single pilot.

This model serves as a successor to an earlier sailplane, featuring a redesigned fuselage constructed to offer high crash resistance. Narrow and wide fuselage options are available, with the wider variant receiving a specific military designation during its service. While achieving success in the gliding community, it faced strong competition from other contemporary sailplanes.
