About the L-26-B
The Aeromarine-Klemm L-26-B is a fixed-wing, single-engine monoplane configured with two seats. It was produced as a trainer and light touring aircraft, suiting private owners and flight instruction.
Derived from German designs by Hanns Klemm, the aircraft was built in the United States by the Aeromarine-Klemm Corporation during the late nineteen-twenties and early nineteen-thirties. Production ceased when demand dropped due to the Great Depression. Surviving examples are exceedingly rare, with an American-built unit preserved on museum display at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome.
