About the 560
The Aero Commander 560 is a twin-engine, fixed-wing aircraft featuring standard seating for five to seven occupants. Developed as part of a light executive transport line, it suits private owners and corporate operators requiring multi-engine utility and passenger capability.
Introduced following the earlier Model 520, the type incorporated structural modifications, increased gross weight limits, a swept vertical stabilizer, and progressively more powerful engines throughout its production run. Later manufacturing rights transferred to North American Rockwell, and the lineage eventually included various piston and turbine developments.
