About the Aeroprakt A 22
The Ful Aeroprakt A 22 is a fixed-wing ultralight aircraft configured as a high-wing, tricycle landing gear light-sport aircraft. Originating from Ukraine, it accommodates a single pilot and a passenger, powered by a single piston engine driving a three-bladed propeller. It is well-suited for recreational flying and light utility tasks, meeting the definition of an FAI microlight.
The aircraft was designed and manufactured by Aeroprakt and is supplied either ready to fly or as a multi-piece kit. Depending on the region, it is marketed under names such as the Valor or the Foxbat. Production has reached a substantial milestone with over a thousand examples built. In later operational history, units have been adapted for various non-standard applications, including roles with civil air patrols, drone interception, and remote-controlled operations.
