About the RF-5

The Fournier RF-5 is a wooden, low-wing motor glider equipped with a single piston engine and a tandem enclosed cockpit for two occupants. Originating in France, it functions as a semi-aerobatic touring glider suited for pilots interested in combined soaring and powered flight.

Developed from a single-seat predecessor, the aircraft incorporates a manually retractable main wheel, a steerable tailwheel, and removable outrigger gear. For ground handling, the outer sections of the wings can be unlocked and folded inward by a single person to minimize hangar footprint.
