About the 300 Hawk

The Pioneer Aircraft, USA ; Flightstar 300 HAWK is a fixed-wing homebuilt aircraft of Italian origin, tailored for amateur constructors and enthusiasts of light sport aviation. It is laid out with a wooden framework covered by composite skin panels, featuring a tapered wing planform, an enclosed side-by-side cockpit under a bubble canopy, and a single engine in a tractor arrangement.

Derived from another amateur design, the aircraft was shaped to meet international microlight and light-sport categories. Depending on operational preferences and regional regulations, it can be fitted with either fixed or retractable tricycle landing gear. Power is supplied by a four-cylinder four-stroke engine, though alternative powerplants have also been installed historically. Buyers can purchase the aircraft either factory-finished or as a construction kit.
