About the E1000

The Epic Aircraft E1000 is an American type-certificated fixed-wing aircraft designed for personal and cross-country transport. Built primarily from carbon fiber, this single-engine turboprop features a low-wing configuration, a pressurized cabin with an airstair entrance, and a retractable tricycle undercarriage suited for six occupants.

Evolving out of a kit-built predecessor, the type was launched to secure official certification and transition factory output. The manufacturing program progressed through multiple prototype construction phases, flight testing hours, and structural load evaluations before reaching final authorization. Cabin amenities incorporate club seating, USB power points, and electronically dimmable windows. Order backlogs and projected manufacturing output targets evolved steadily as the enterprise built up its production capacity and workforce.

{# the label links to these aircraft for sale, built in that span. On the label and not the count: the bands count every aircraft on the market (on_market) while the grid shows only those with a photo (live), so the count is not a promise of how many cards appear. A band cached before year_min existed renders as plain text rather than a link to an unfiltered list. #}
