About the 60

The Beech 60 is an American twin-engine, piston-driven fixed-wing aircraft featuring retractable tricycle landing gear and a pressurized cabin. Designed as a corporate and private transport machine, it accommodates up to six occupants in a club seating layout accessed through a port-side airstair door in the rear fuselage.

Engineering work began in the mid-sixties to bridge the gap between two existing company models, leading to the prototype's first flight in late nineteen-sixty-six and subsequent type certification. Subsequent variants introduced refined pressurized cabins utilizing advanced bonded honeycomb construction, lighter turbochargers, and improved elevators. Although praised for its performance, production ultimately concluded in the nineteen-eighties due to high maintenance expenditures associated with its complex mechanical systems.

On the label and not the count: the bands count every aircraft on the market (on_market) while the grid shows only those with a photo (live), so the count is not a promise of how many cards appear.
