About the 414
The Cessna 414 is an American twin-engine, light pressurized transport aircraft. Featuring a low-wing cantilever monoplane layout with a retractable tricycle landing gear and a conventional tail unit, it seats up to seven people and is well suited for private and business transport.
Developed by Cessna to appeal to owners of unpressurized twin-engine aircraft, the prototype first flew on November 1, 1968. It is powered by two wing-mounted Continental engines. An improved variant, the 414A Chancellor, was introduced with a redesigned, increased-span wing featuring integral fuel tanks and an extended nose for added baggage space.
