About the 404 (turbine)

The Cessna 404 (turbine) is an American twin-engined fixed-wing light aircraft produced by Cessna Aircraft. It accommodates a crew of two pilots and is configured to suit passenger transport or cargo utility duties.

Developed as a successor incorporating an enlarged vertical tail, the prototype made its initial flight in February 1975 powered by turbocharged piston engines. The manufacturer offered multiple versions, including passenger variants and dedicated cargo models equipped with reinforced floors and impact-resistant interior walls designed to prevent freight damage during flight. Military designations were also assigned to the type by international armed forces.

The 404 (turbine) is a variant of the Cessna 404 Titan.
